Therapy for women and teen girls in Texas who look like they’re coping but are quietly running on empty
You should not have to hold yourself together this tightly just to get through the day.
In person sessions in Frisco, TX.
Virtual sessions available in Texas, Arizona, and Montana.
-
Feel Steadier Without Bracing
Anxiety eases in the body, reducing the need to stay on high alert or constantly prepare for what comes next.
-
Ease Relentless Self-Pressure
Internal pressure and constant self-monitoring begin to loosen without losing your ability to function or meet expectations.
-
Respond With Less Reactivity
Emotional reactions become less intense, creating space to pause, reflect, and respond with intention rather than impulse.
If insight alone or “trying harder to relax” worked, you would already feel better.
You show up. Responsibilities are met. Work or grades are good.
But inside, it feels like you are running internal damage control.
Women stay productive while feeling tense, numb, or perpetually on edge. Rest does not restore you.
Teen girls come home emotionally drained or shut down after holding it together all day.
Slowing down feels unsafe. Letting go feels impossible.
Your nervous system is stuck in survival mode. Let’s rescue it.
I help women and teen girls move out of chronic self-pressure and into a steadier, more regulated way of living.
My work focuses on anxiety, perfectionism, emotional shutdown, and high-functioning stress. Instead of pushing through or learning more coping “tricks”, we address the underlying nervous system patterns that keep your body and mind in overdrive
The result is not doing more.
It is feeling calmer, clearer, and more at ease in your daily life.
This is not surface-level therapy.
This work slows things down enough to create real internal safety. That is what allows anxiety to ease, emotional shutdown to lift, and pressure to release. Clients choose this approach because they want meaningful change, not temporary relief.
What Actually Changes
Who This Helps Most
For Women:
Your brain loops through tasks and "what-ifs" long after the day ends.
Rest feels like a moral failure, chased by a nagging sense of guilt.
You look dependable and "fine" while feeling reactive or on edge inside.
Life feels like going through the motions while numb or disconnected.
For Your Teen Daughter:
She is drowning under the weight of school, social pressure, and perfectionism.
Silence and one-word answers have replaced the connection you once had.
You are walking on eggshells, waiting for the next meltdown or shutdown.
Her spark is fading as her sleep, appetite, or interests begin to shift.
Not Sure Where to Start?
Most people who reach this point are not choosing between services; they are deciding whether to take the first step. You do not need to have everything figured out to begin. Therapy starts by understanding what is underneath the pressure and choosing a path that fits what you are noticing.
For Women
Stop feeling tense and depleted through work that reduces your internal load and interrupts patterns of over-responsibility.
For Teen Girls
Help her navigate high expectations and anxiety without becoming overwhelmed, shutting down, or withdrawing.
For Children (Ages 5+)
Support your child through emotional or behavioral challenges with play-based therapy that builds regulation and confidence.
Specific concerns such as anxiety, burnout, and perfectionism are supported within each of these areas, with the option to integrate Christian faith for those who desire it.
Therapy for lasting change, not temporary relief. Move beyond managing symptoms to changing how your body carries the load. These intentional sessions focus on shifting how your nervous system functions so you can finally feel steady again.
How Therapy Works
-
Chronic tension, emotional flooding, irritability, or shutdown are signs the nervous system has been under strain for too long.
-
Therapy reduces the internal load rather than asking you to tolerate more. By working with anxiety, perfectionism, and stress held in the body, emotional regulation and nervous system balance become more natural and sustainable.
-
Over time, life feels less consuming. Emotions are easier to manage. Functioning no longer depends on constant self-control.
